Walking on temple's door. Kyoto, 2019.

    In Kyoto, the large Sanmon gate stands for the entrance of the beautiful Nanzen-ji temple. You can climb inside and visit this ancient sacred gate, provided that you take off your shoes. As I reached the top, I discovered a magnificent view on the gardens and the nearby mountains, perfectly framed by the old wooden floor and ceiling.
